The Empowerment Effect of Womens Acces to Hygiene and Utilization Status In Rural Areas of East Gojjam Zone Northwest Ethiopia

<p><em>The empowerment has become a common component of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions. However, there is limited evidence on whether access to utilization WASH facilities have contributed the women. This study aimed understand effect women’s status in selected rural areas Gozamin Machakel districts East Gojjam Zone, Ethiopia. The analyses were conducted based responses from 325 married women through multi-stage cluster sampling technique. Gologit2 was used estimate correlation between level their status. gologit2 estimation identified statistically significant association with terms self-esteem, household decision-making, participation health extension activities. A woman high 2.5 times more likely be empowered than low was. no found It showed that mere presence did not empower unless these actually utilized. Therefore, researcher recommended government strengthen its work promote monitor addition availability household.</em></p><p> </p><p>Pemberdayaan telah menjadi bagian komponen umum dari air, sanitasi, dan kebersihan (WASH). Namun, ada bukti terbatas tentang apakah akses pemanfaatan fasilitas berkontribusi pada pemberdayaan perempuan.
